Connectra Technologies ("Connectra", "we", "us") builds products that help people connect with intention — including Compax, our professional networking and mentorship platform. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
  • Profile information: details you provide to power our services — for Compax, this includes your professional role, goals, challenges, what you offer, and the kind of professional you want to meet.
  • Usage data: activity needed to operate the service, such as matches generated and feedback you give.
  • Payment data: subscriptions are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card details — Paystack handles them. We store only your subscription status and a payment reference.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate our products and match you with relevant people.
  • To process subscriptions and provide customer support.
  • To improve the quality and safety of our services.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Our products and their purpose

Each Connectra product has a clearly defined purpose. Compax is strictly for professional networking and mentorship — it is not a dating or romantic matchmaking service. Where we operate other products in future, each will have its own clearly stated purpose and applicable terms.

4. Third-party services

  • Paystack — payment processing.
  • Neon — secure database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • OpenAI — used to power matching and prompts; profile text may be processed to generate results and is not used to train their models.

5. Data security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to user data is restricted to authorized Connectra operators.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time from within the relevant product, or by contacting us. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, email us at the address below.

7. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except limited records (e.g. payment references) we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.
